50 years ago. Strawberries grew easily. Then the climate changed. We rebuilt the conditions. Every outcome, by design

Light, water, air, nutrients and time are all set by us. The strawberry was only the first thing we proved it on.

_Prologue

Highland farms borrow their conditions from altitude. We build ours at sea level in West Jakarta, where a strawberry has no business surviving. That is the difference between a good location and a working system.

Strawberry plants in the facility
  • Light: Spectrum and photoperiod set per growth stage. Sunrise happens when the plant needs it.
  • Water: Delivered to the root, measured per plant, recovered and reused. [X]% less than open-field.
  • Air: Temperature, humidity, and CO₂ held within [X] of target, around the clock.
  • Nutrients: Formulated and dosed directly. No soil to correct for, no season to wait out.
  • Time: [X] harvests a year instead of [X]. The calendar is an input, not a constraint.

_Journals

A working facility at sea level in West Jakarta, with harvest data from every cycle since commissioning. What we have proven here is not a crop — it is a method for building growing conditions where geography says they shouldn't exist. That method scales by replication, not by acquisition of land. We're open to conversations about capital, capacity, and where the second site goes.

The next facility doesn't need a mountain

We didn't find a place where strawberries grow. We built one at sea level in West Jakarta, and recorded every condition it took. That record is the asset — a highland farm's advantage ends at its property line, ours is a specification. It can be built again, closer to the people who need it.
